Pal Perspective Weekly
Our Story: I noticed my inability to grapple with heartbreaking content like films and documentaries about Palestine. I voiced this fear to my social community and asked for people to watch these films with me. It turns out, a lot of other people were not only feeling that, but also, isolation, sadness, grief and anger. Now we gather weekly as a community, watch films and hold space for each other.

Community Guidelines:
To ensure a safe and respectful environment for all members, please adhere to the following guidelines:
Be Respectful: Treat all members with kindness and respect. Disagreements are welcome, but they must be expressed civilly and constructively.
Safe Space: This channel is intended to be a safe and inclusive space for all members. Any form of discrimination, harassment, or hate speech will not be tolerated.
No Othering: Avoid dehumanizing or making overgeneralizations about any group of people. Respect each other's differences and perspectives.
No Snitching: Refrain from self-incrimination or incrimination of others. We operate under the principle of "no snitching," recognizing that not everyone in the room may be known to each other.
Stack Method: Use the "stack" method to decide the speaking order. Simply type "stack" in the chat to be added to the order. This helps maintain an organized discussion flow.
Step Up, Step Back: Encourage all members to participate in discussions. If you're someone who speaks up often, try to leave space for others to contribute. Conversely, if you don't usually speak up, feel free to share your thoughts and perspectives. Feel it out and trust your judgment. The goal is for everyone to be seen and heard.
Speaking Time: Keep your speaking time under three minutes maximum to ensure everyone has a chance to participate. Respect the time of others and avoid dominating the conversation.
Respect Movie Viewing: Keep microphones muted during movie screenings to minimize distractions. Feel free to engage in the chat.
During discussions, members are welcome to have their camera on or off based on their preference.
